Three Walter Haverfield attorneys, Sebastian Pascu, Amanda Lauer, and Rick Amburgey have been elected to the firm’s partnership, based on their legal achievements and continued dedication to clients. The additions bring the Walter Haverfield partnership to 32 members.

Sebastian is a member of the firm’s Tax and Wealth Management Group. He focuses his practice on federal, state and local tax planning and controversies, mergers and acquisitions, estate planning, and probate and trust administration. Sebastian counsels high-net-worth individuals, families, and closely held businesses in a wide range of personal, charitable, business succession and estate planning matters, as well as taxable and tax-free stock and asset acquisitions, post-acquisition restructurings, incorporation transactions, and general tax consequences of transactions between shareholders and corporations.
Amanda is also a member of the firm’s Real Estate Group. She focuses on all aspects of commercial real estate, managing transactions from start to finish. Amanda drafts and negotiates leases, license agreements, purchase and sale agreements, SNDAs and finance documents. She is also experienced in business law, including the formation of business entities, structuring of operating agreements, and the drafting and negotiation of asset purchase agreements.
Rick is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Group. He focuses his practice on real estate development and construction law. His clients include public, private, and institutional owners, developers, prime contractors, construction managers, designers, manufacturers, and lenders. Rick’s experience includes the construction of industrial and manufacturing facilities, high-rise and multi-use projects, multi-use retail centers, cannabis growth facilities, school and healthcare buildings, aviation facilities, stadiums, and entertainment districts.
