- Representing a film production company in the private placement of membership units for the production and distribution of a 5-film slate project
- Serving as a lender’s counsel in connection with acquisition, development, construction, and permanent loans secured by assorted real property, including vacant land, office buildings, shopping centers, marinas, and multi-family residential and mixed-use projects
- Providing counsel in matters of loan modifications, workout matters, and deeds in lieu of foreclosure, including the representation of a national developer in the simultaneous surrender of two regional shopping malls to the lender
- Representing borrowers and lenders in leasehold mortgage financing transactions
- Acting as local counsel to out-of-state financial institutions in real estate transactions
- Advising borrowers in conduit financing transactions, acquisition, development, and construction loans
- Representing a national lender in individual purchases of construction loans and portfolio sales of loans
- Advising lenders in connection with financing for acquisition, development, mezzanine, construction, and permanent commercial real estate loans for vacant land, office buildings, retail centers, and multi-family residential projects
- Negotiating on behalf of lenders in connection with asset-based and mezzanine financing transactions
- Representing a purchaser in the acquisition, financing, and subsequent leasing of a multi-tenant, 165,000-square foot mixed-use office and warehouse facility
- Representing a regional bank in connection with financing for the acquisition and infrastructure improvements concerning a planned 50-acre retail development, including negotiations with the Ohio Department of Development concerning a brownfield redevelopment loan and with county commissioners concerning tax increment financing
- Representing national lender in the acquisition and ground-up construction financing for multi-site apartment tower development located in Orange County, Florida
- Representing a national lender in connection with primary construction financing and bridge financing for the redevelopment of office buildings to a multi-family project supported by federal and state Historic Tax Credits
- Representing a national lender in connection with multi-phase construction and bridge financing for the redevelopment of the industrial complex to a multi-family and commercial project supported by federal and state Historic Tax Credits, New Markets Tax Credits, and State of Ohio Brownfield Redevelopment loan
- Representing a national lender in connection with a guidance line of credit for the construction of approximately 20 single-tenant retail stores across the U.S.
- Representing a national lender in connection with a multi-loan facility for a manufacturing company including operating and equipment lines of credit and term loans secured by real estate assets and business assets
- Representing a regional bank in connection with a multi-loan facility for a restaurant operator and associated manufacturing company including CAPEX and operating lines of credit and term loans secured by business assets
